TRANSFER OF THE PFG KARYOTYPE MAP TO Leishmania major FRIEDLIN

These are the results which Jennie Blackwell has put together from data sent to her by members of the LGN. At present, we have not included all results, only those where we thought a definitive location for the marker used could be determined. Where it has not been possible to map markers, the group responsible for continuing the effort is indicated in parentheses.
See also the chromosome by chromosome listing of EST markers which the Cambridge group are mapping onto chromosomes separated by the Montpellier group. Parallel hybridisation s, using filters made from gels run in Cambridge on a BioRad CHEF-DR apparatus, are also being performed.
